Squirrel Nuttiness Pattern

I love the a simple nine patch block, but truthfully don't consider myself a traditional quilter. When I decided to create this quilt using the nine patch I knew something whimsical would have to take over - hence the squirrels, leaves and acorns running amuck and over the seams. And yes, I do LOVE squirrels. :)
