Bristol

In some of my posts I mention I use “Bristol” so I thought I would clarify what it is.
Bristol is a heavyweight paper and is sometimes referred to as “Bristol board”. It can be found at art stores, some of crafts stores, or of course online. I use the Strathmore brand just because it’s pretty available.
I use SMOOTH as opposed to vellum. Smooth has a very, well…smooth surface. Vellum, on the other hand, has a little bit of texture, although not as much as maybe you’re used to see in watercolor paper.
The two series I’ve shown (there are more in the Strathmore series) – the difference is the thickness for the most part – Series 400 being the thicker one (also the more expensive one).
Both are acid free.
