This is the first of a few cards that Estella over at Sandee’s Stamps in Waterford, Michigan sent in.

I love the stripes and polka dots and the fact that she made the doggy’s hind-quarters go outside the main box – almost like the tail is wagging in anticipation of getting just a little taste.

Annie’s been stamping again! She sent in this happy card using Aunt Daisy running through the grass. I think sunshine and happiness are good for the soul. And running through a field of flowers that happy has got to push the wrinkles away! Now if you’ll excuse me I think I need to run through the grass a bit. :)

Annie said she sponged the background using dye inks and colored things in using Copic markers. She added some glitter to the flowers so they’d sparkle a bit in the sunshine.

Linda sent this card in and I thought it was just too fun for words.

Her inspiration…her top ten ways to embarrass your children. She added a small disclaimer that she’s not responsible for any childhood therapy! She also says should giggle at your own risk. I might also add, make sure your bladder isn’t full! :)

Ok, the list:
10. The spit wash – licking your thumb and wiping dirt off their face. Hey, and if it’s chocolate, lick your thumb again and say Yum!

9. Ingratiating yourself with their friends by trying to talk teen slang. Groovy Dude!

8. Friend all their buds and post their baby pictures on your Facebook page. Bare Baby Butts.

7. Regale their friends with stories of cute little things your child said when they were little. Mispronounced words, like “pissgetti” and “Let’s get Farching,” will really crack them up and increase your child’s popularity.

6. Pick up your kids from school with black workout Spandex. If they give you too much grief, just change into the leopard print ones.

5. Yell at the refs while they’re playing ball. “What are you, Blind?!”

4. Give your husband a big ‘ole smooch. But, hey, keep it clean.

3. Serve cupcakes with blue icing for their birthday. Blue teeth for all.

2. Take them bra shopping with you. Try on the bra over your clothes while passers-by snicker at how absurd you look.

And the number one way to embarrass your children:

1. Shout loudly as you drive by their school: “Don’t forget to wipe properly, those stains will never come off.”

Meg has got summer on her mind. She said she thought this card would be great to send to a kid at summer camp. I agree! Kind of makes ME want to go to summer camp – well, minus the bugs of course. :)

Annie sent in this cute little summertime card! The water looks so refreshing and little Lilly is ready to jump in!

Annie said she used Copics to color everything in. She actually used Copic ink on a rough washcloth and dabbed it on the hills to give them a little texture. Pretty cool technique. Oh…and she drew the hills and the little trees herself.

Meg sent in this rather bubbly card. :) I thought it was so much fun and certainly fit’s Scooter (the dog) perfectly.

According to Meg the bubbles were a cinch! Here’s what she did…

1. I stamped Scooter ’s Day at the Pool on A Muse Ocean paper, then stamped him again on white paper, colored him with copics, cut him out, then added some Glossy Effects to his fins and snorkel mask.
2. I used nestabilities and a good ol’ hole punch to cut out the bubbles.
3. I popped Scooter and the sentiment up on foam tape, then the other larger circles are popped up on two layers of foam tape.

Don’t ya just long for summer vacation! Well Meg sure does or did anyway (it took me a little bit to post this card, so her 5 days of waiting for it is up I’m sure).

Here’s what Meg did to make the card.

1. I used Crate Paper’s School Spirit and Emma’s Shoppe paper pads for the background.
2. I printed the sentiment on Papertrey Ink’s Ocean Tides cardstock in light gray using Love Ya Like a Sister font, then whet over it with a white pencil for a chalk look.
3. I stamped Kati Ann has Something to Say onto white paper, colored, cut out, and adhered with foam tape.
4. I stamped and embossed the banner, cut out, and adhered.

An email came Linda and when I opened it up I just couldn’t help but giggle. I don’t know about you, but these days I’m with Linda in that a whole lot of skinny dippin’ isn’t happening here – only CHUNKY DUNKING!

Her card is so cute – I love all the colors, layers and embellishments! And the flower on the swim cap she added because it reminded her of one that her mom used to wear. I remember seeing those swim caps and wondering how girls got all their hair under them!

Moon sent in this cute box project. I love the gingham paper and ribbon against the brown polka dots. Her shading on the frog is just so lovely, and if that wasn’t enough she topped  it all off  with some scallops!

Honestly, with a box like this who needs anything at all inside! :)
