Will work for carrots!
Filed Under DT: Christy, Holiday: Easter, People, Spring | 2 Comments

Christy created this hug-ibly soft version of Mr. MacIntire – you can actually reach out and touch the texture his bunny suit fabric!

How’d she do it? She colored the image with Marvy Uchida Puffy Velvet Fabric Markers. The basic directions for using the markers, color and allow plenty of time for the “ink” to dry. Once dry, apply heat using a heat tool. The ink will immediately start to puff! She says “coloring his suit in this manner really makes the image come to life” – and I wholeheartedly agree! She used DecoArt Snow-Tex to add dimension to his tail.
She said too that she added the carrots dangling from thread to encourage Mr. MacIntire not to grow weary in delivering all those Easter treats!

Flopsy bookmark
Filed Under Animals, DT: Georgia, Holiday: Easter, Other projects, Spring | 2 Comments
Georgia decided to do something a little different and created this cute bookmark using Flopsy and a giant paper clip.
She was at Walmart awhile back – a store for which she says she has a “love-hate” relationship. :) She found these giant paperclips on clearance and purchased some.
Ta-da! Who wouldn’t want Flopsy keeping track of what page you’re on, peeking out of the top to say hi.

Flopsy’s got eggs AND carrots
Filed Under Animals, DT: Judy, Holiday: Easter, Spring | 3 Comments

Another cute card creation from Judy. This time Flopsy bunny has lots of colored eggs – and a basket of carrots too! I think the background paper she used is just terrific – all those scribble dots. And adding a little scallop border with the blue layered under the green – wonderful. Thanks Judy!

Are those JELLYBEANS? (card)
Filed Under Animals, DT: Crafty Math Chick, Holiday: Easter, Spring | 5 Comments

This cute card was created by Crafty Math Chick. She said that when she first saw Poppy bunny she just knew jellybeans had to be involved. Although she says it took her awhile to create the card because she kept eating the jellybeans! That’d be me too!! I love the little touch of shiny ribbon and a bit of lace at the bottom. Very sweet – literally!

Sweet Lilly and her box of fairy dust never looked so lovely. Pam created this card using patterned paper and a big tulip sticker. I love how she layered Sweet Lilly the fairy – gave her dress some sparkle just like the tulip.

Anything for the kids
Filed Under DT: Christy, People, Spring | 4 Comments
Christy created another fun card using Mr. MacIntire in his bunny suit – he even has a fluffy tail this time!

She says he’s a good sport. After getting on his bunny costume he loaded up his basket with Easter treasures and set out to deliver the treasures to the children in his community. Every year, the kids look for him, and this year is no different. :)
Mr. MacIntire was colored with Prismas and Gamsol. His white fluffy tail was embellished with Snow-Tex from DecoArt. The image was layered with colored cardstock and handmade black dots give the main image a nice border. The background paper was handstamped with boys and girls who will be receiving all the special treats.

Flower wreath
Filed Under DT: Christy, Holiday: Easter, Spring | 4 Comments
Design Team Member Christy created this wonderful card – makes me want to plant some flowers – especially if they bloomed as pretty as these!

This Easter card begins on purple glitter paper and is blooming with a Happy Easter message. The stamped image is (1089-J) Mr. MacIntire’s bunny suit. The image was stamped on a white cardstock in the shape of a circle and colored with Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol. A few stamped dots around his feet grounded the image nicely. The flowers used in the wreath were cut with the Cricut, paper punches, and Primas. The flowers were stacked and stuck together with brads, buttons, or other little blooms. Curling up the petals of the paper flowers gave the blooms an interesting 3D appearance.
Once the flowers were assembled, she used the white cardstock circle as her guide to lay the flowers appropriately around Mr. MacIntire. The stamped Easter greeting was situated in the wreath using foam squares, to give it the look of just floating in the petals.

Spring is in the air
Filed Under Animals, DT: Kriss, Holiday: Easter, Spring | 3 Comments
Using Easter photos of her son through the years, Kriss created this delightful accordion-folded book. What a great memory keeper – to have all the photos together! I thought too how organized Kriss must be to know where she kept all the photos in the first place. :)

Instructions:
- Stamp Flopsy Bunny six times with Jet Black Archival Ink on white cardstock. Color with watercolor pencils and blend with Blender Pen. Cut all of them out. Cover the eggs with one to two layers of Glossy Accents.
- Cover front and back covers with pattern paper. Attach 24” x 5.5” accordion-folded white cardstock to the inside of covers.
- Cut one yellow and four green panels to 3.75” X 5.25”. Stamp various places on panels with black ink and Tall Scrollies. Attach yellow panel to front cover and green panels to inside pages of album.
- Decorate front cover and page in album with border punched embellishments.
- Attach Flopsy Bunnies to front cover and throughout album pages.
- Add pictures and stamp with years.

Flopsy’s got a BUNCH of eggs
Filed Under Animals, DT: Georgia, Spring | 5 Comments
Flopsy’s got a bunch of eggs and his very own basket to hold them all! This great project is by DT Member Georgia. She found a basket tutorial on the Whimsie Doodles blog. Georgia said Flopsy’s in chocolate egg heaven and he’s probably not going to leave for quite some time. I certainly wouldn’t either. :)
