Cupcakes, what yum
Filed Under DT: Barb H., Food | 2 Comments
Using a single stamp Barb really made a card with impact. She found the perfect background paper covered in cupcakes! Yum indeed. I love all her layers and the way she framed the saying with orange and the rest with tan. Adding the finishing touch of the chocolate ribbon is the icing on the cupcake.

Cupcakes!
Filed Under DT: Barb H., Food | 2 Comments
Well I apologize for the absence of new postings. It’s not because the design team hasn’t been hard at work but because the person that writes the posts, me, has had the flu! I feel like I’m back to the land of the living and can finally catch up on all the wonderful things they’ve been creating.
So without further delay, here’s a yummy card from Barb.

Barb started with a sketch from Clean and Simple Stamping. And said that one of her great nieces decided she wanted to learn how to bake and decorate cupcakes this year so she’s sending this card to her. I love the embossed background dots – but then again, I LOVE polka-dots of all sorts. I also love the unconventional colors she chose for the cupcakes. To top it all off she add a little bit of bling.
Any way you look at it these are yummy yummy yummy!

Don’t ya just want to jump into this card? It would be so nice to just lay back and enjoy a nice pension indeed! Estella (Sandee’s Stamps) certainly had the right idea when she created this little gem of a card.

Think Thin Thoughts
Filed Under Dogs, Food, Great Customers, People, Summer | 1 Comment
This is the first of a few cards that Estella over at Sandee’s Stamps in Waterford, Michigan sent in.
I love the stripes and polka dots and the fact that she made the doggy’s hind-quarters go outside the main box – almost like the tail is wagging in anticipation of getting just a little taste.

Too late for cake
Filed Under Birthday, Cats, DT: Annie F., Food, People | 3 Comments
So a little bit of a confession…this is my birthday week, and even though it’s already past mid week I’ll be posting a few birthday related cards.
The first one was sent in by Annie. Oh what yum I say. She stamped Penelope and kitty Percy and the word bubble…but she actually drew the cake! Isn’t it the cutest!

It’s always nice to share
Filed Under DT: Georgia, Dogs, Food, People | 2 Comments
Georgia’s made yet another TOO cute card! I love her color choices – the bright yellow-orange, the hot pink background and her signature lime green ribbon.
This is actually one of my favorite stamps – a little sketch I did from a long ago memory. I had a St. Bernard growing up and we shared everything, she was my best friend and constant companion. I always think of her when I see this stamp.
Thanks Georgia for making it into such a wonderful card.

Tin of chocolates
Filed Under Animals, DT: Thao, Dogs, Food, People | 10 Comments
Thao created this wonderfully delicious treat tin using Hersery’s nuggets candies and address labels. This is definitely one time I wouldn’t be tearing the wrappers off the chocolate – in fact I don’t know if I could bear to eat any of it as it’s too cute!

Click on the candy box to see a bigger version.
She stamped the images onto the address labels and then colored them in using Copic markers. She wrapped them around the pieces of chocolate, put them in the tin and tied a little bow around the outside.
