For this adorable little Hoppy Easter card Lynne used two bunny stamps. She colored everything with watercolor pencils and added several layers of clear sparkle to the Easter egg. The faint little clouds were chalked in the background and the finishing touch – some pink splatters and a sweet little bow.

I hope you all have a lovely Easter.

Isn’t this an oh so springtime flowery card. Kim did this and I just love all of her embellishments – from the doily in the background, the big beautiful flowers, even the little ribbon rose for Cottontail bunny’s tail!

Here’s what Kim wrote:
I created this 6″x6″ card that is full of spring colors and this cute little bunny, to get a jump on Easter which is March 27th this year. I’ve never used gelatos before and here I used them on the flowers, the background scallop circle and on the bunny. I stamped the bunny on a piece of watercolor paper with black ink. I mixed purple and blue gelatos together, added water, and stirred until it turned gray to paint in the bunny. I mixed the gelatos with water and left it thicker for the background. And thinned it for the flowers and painting the bunny. I used an oval punch and adhered the bunny image to center of scallop circle with pop dots. And I added a white rosette ribbon to the bunny tail for a unique touch. Happy Easter!

And hey, here’s a special treat. Over on the CardMaker you can see Kim’s actual crafting space! Oh my goodness this girls got oodles of stuff!

Brewster the bunny is hippity hoppin’ down the bunny trail getting ready for some Easter fun. This Adorable (with a capital “A”) card was sent in by Lori. It’s so bright and cheery, it makes me want to hop down the bunny trail too!!

She says “This card design can be used for many different occasions beyond Easter. I plan on making a birthday card by using a different sentiment and stamping a few balloons for the bunny to hold. (I do hope Lori shows us this card too.) To make the card background, I sponged the clouds using a stencil and the hills with a hand-cut mask. The grass on the hills was stamped with the mask in place. I also stamped the baby’s breath with the mask down, but used VersaMark ink and heat embossed in white. The sentiment banner is hand-cut and edged in crystal glitter. All the coloring is done with Spectrum Noir Markers. For a bit more bling, I added little touches of crystal glitter to the baby’s breath and a few colored sequins.”

Here’s a close up of the card:

I just love everything about this card!

kim klinkovsky - hippity hoppity

Here’s another project from Kim, this time a sweet yet simple card for Easter. She said she’s loved frogs ever since she can remember. She stamped Go froggie go three times so it looked like he was moving across the card – leaping for joy (maybe for the Easter basket and chocolate I’m thinking). :)

She used polka dot paper for her main image background and then layer that over the spring flowers patterned paper. She loves pink and green together, it’s very Springy, so she added the big pink rose ribbon to the green card. For a bit of whimsy she put googly eyes on the frog. Very cute!!!

kim klinkovsky - mr bun

Mr. Bun is speeding along this cute card sent in by Kim. She said for her first card as a design team member she wanted to something for Easter and she loves Mr. Bun racing to get some jelly beans.

She says…
“I stamped him twice. Once on yellow dot pattern paper and again on white cardstock, colored him with watercolor color crayons, blended him, cut him out, and pasted him into the yellow dot basket. The background paper reminded me of an Easter egg pattern. And I added a touch of sparkle to his sunglasses with a glitter pen and gems to his wheels.”

What patience it took to cut out the bunny and also what a great idea to just cut him out instead of the whole image. The purple polka dot ribbon really frames the scene and the gems add just the right amount of bling. I think she did a wonderful job.

Here’s another adorable Easter project from Donna. This time it’s the cutest little treat box! She’s put little Binkley bunny in a Polaroid frame and the soft colors she chose made him look so sweet. I love the way she cut out the sentiment and topping it all off with the little flower and bow – I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want to open it because I’d just want to look at it all day!

Here’s an adorable Easter card sent in by Donna. Did you notice, it’s a clear card! I’ve never thought of that before but isn’t it just a grand idea. I love the polka dot paper and that she cut out Binkley bunny so he’d really stand out. I think she found the perfect embellishments – the sweet ribbon and white scallop cutouts. Oh so cute.

kelly clark - easter boxKelly is using Brewster bunny again and this time he’s on this cute little treat box.

I just love the purples she’s chosen – they look so fresh and Eastery.

Kelly did mention, “Let it be known that the Reese’s miniatures were gone within five minutes of finishing the photograph!” In my house I don’t know that they’d lasted that long. :)

Happy Easter everyone.

kelly clark - spring bannerI just love Brewster and his little Spring banner.

Kelly says this incarnation of Brewster bunny features a hand-colored banner, faux stitching, and a Nestability die to enhance the main image.

She says she likes the colors (and I agree!), which she says, amazingly enough, are present in Washington state today! Oh I bet that must be so pretty.
