A beautiful card from Georgia. I just love the starry sky and snow capped mountains. She actually created this card earlier this year, for a Simply Scrapping Crafts Paper Scraps Challenge. But it’s so wintery I’m posting it now.

Georgia sent this card in a little bit ago but I thought I would post it now. In this hustle and bustle time of the year it’s always nice to have a little “thanks so much” card as well. Too cute Georgia!

Happy Halloween

Halloween is fast approaching! Can you believe it’s almost October already!
Georgia’s gettin’ ready! She used bright orange, olive green and black and white polka dots for a very cheerful card. I love how she tilted the main image and framed it in orange.
Oh poor witchy – that’ll teach her to watch where she’s going!

Dearest Friend flower basket
Filed Under DT: Georgia, Just because | 1 Comment
Georgia created this little card wrapped up in gingham and twine and finished with a button.
Her color choices are so fresh – the green gingham bordered with the darker green, the browns and then her pops of color in the flowers. A delightful card for that special friend.

Georgia is at it again! I love the crispness of this card – it’s almost all black, white and red but then there’s just a hint of bright orange peeking out.
She said that she used a software program to create the fence. Kitty Werther was stamped and cut out, as were the flowers which are actually only part of a much bigger stamp. She layered everything so it’s dimensional – something I find I’m doing more and more of because of the cards the design team sends in. She used the polka dot ribbon and two matching red buttons.
Too cute! Hopefully Kitty won’t have to wait much longer!

Lemonade
Filed Under DT: Georgia, People, Summer | 2 Comments
Looks like Kati Ann is drumming up business for her lemonade sales – such the entrepreneur .
Georgia created this great card using lots of little framed areas. The lemon slices look so refreshing and I love the price scratched out and the “Open” sign. She finished it all off with a wonderful polka dot bow.
I don’t know about you but if you’ll excuse me I think I need to grab a glass and pour myself a glass of lemonade!

Road Trip!
Filed Under DT: Georgia, Travel | 1 Comment
Georgia created a fun Road Trip card for this summer’s travel adventures. I love the use of her background map! Can’t you just see them toodling down the road – parent’s driving, kid’s in the backseat pokin’ and jabbin’ and playing games and the family dog in the back just taking it all in. I love her use of red – the car, the ribbon, even the lines on the map. Very cute!
Stay tuned tomorrow for another clever travel card.

Family Holiday invitation
Filed Under Cats, DT: Georgia, Dogs, Summer | 2 Comments
Isn’t this the cutest invitation. Georgia has such an eye for putting colors together – the aqua waves with big polka dots and the bright sunny polka dot orange. I love too that she used thicker pop dots behind the Family Holiday label, Yardley kitty and the waves – it really adds such dimension.
She also sent in a picture of the actual invitation with Scooter down at the bottom – notice he’s sporting the same colors she used on the front. To finish it all of two different ribbons were tied at the top. Kinda makes me wish I was part of the family and getting one of these in the mail. :)

Beachy keen
Filed Under DT: Georgia, People, Summer | 2 Comments
I think these guys are ready for some summer fun!
I love Georgia’s use of such vibrant colors, so befitting of sunshine and cool water. The background paper with fun little sand-dollars for the bottom and polka dots for the top are just “beachy keen”! I certainly hope they’ve packed their sunscreen because those are some mighty pale legs they’re sportin’. :)

Just keep paddling
Filed Under DT: Georgia, Dogs, Nature, People, Summer | 6 Comments
Georgia says sometimes she thinks she’s paddling upstream… and if she keeps going, she’ll get there…wherever there may be.
This card is so vibrant with the orange background against the teal blue water. I love how she picked those up when coloring as well. Looks like she tore the paper for the water and layered the stamp in between. Very clever and oh so cute!

You are special

What a perfect card for a little boy. I think both the doggie and the little boy are enjoying their time together.
Georgia used a bit of layering for this one. The doggie background paper is just a perfect find. Then she used brown gingham tied off with the polka dot ribbon and a big brown button to top it all off. Great job Georgia!
