Monica Poo Mr Who Ornaments

I found a post I’d written but I must have not hit the actual “publish” button because oh my goodness I don’t see it anywhere! Monica Poo was on my design team a little bit ago and made these for a Christmas card challenge she was in. Aren’t they just the sweetest! And what a great idea to make a Christmas card that you can actually use as an ornament. I love the little plaid background and the red wreath. Having Mr. Who sit on the little sentiment banner was a wonderful idea. Thanks so very much Monica.

monica poo who loves you

This adorable little “whooo loves you” card was sent in by Monica Poo. She has an incredible ability of taking something relatively simple and small and making it into something HUGE on sweetness. She used Mr. Who on some Japanese paper that was actually meant for watercolors. But, she used her Copics instead. She was pleasantly surprised when they didn’t bleed on the paper. She then added tiny polka dots in the background, three paper hearts and some crystals and it’s just grand! Thank you so much Monica!

monica-willow  I just love this little image of Willow and all her little furry friends gathered around. Monica did a wonderful job with this cute little card. I don’t think there is anything sweeter than the timeless polka-dot. I love the she colored the image and then added the little ribbon rose that matches Willow’s dress. Of course she put her signature little heart only in a subtle way, matching the green background.

monica-mrknickerbocker-love  Here’s a wonderful little card with a great big heart from Monica. She’s used Mr. Knickerbocker and he’s certainly showing his love. She used the sweetest little X’s and O’s background and added little jewels for a bit of fun. This is a great card for upcoming Valentines Day or any day you want to share how much you love someone.

monica-lamp postMonica made this lovely little winter wishes card. It’s glitzy with the gold and sparkles, but in an oh-so-sweet-Monica-way. She used the light post stamp and cut it out and used foam squares so that it stood away from the background. I think this might be one of the few cards that doesn’t feature a signature little Monica heart.

monica-mr whoMonica’s been making the cutest little thank you and just for you notes. She used Mr. Who and sat him on the little word strips. Sweet little scallops for the edges, a couple of pearls and her signature heart. Wouldn’t you just love to get a wee note in your mailbox.

monica-christmas row

Here’s a wonderful project from Monica. She used the Christmas row stamp and actually layered something in all the little squares! I can’t believe she cut all those little pieces out – especially the stockings. I love her color choices and the polka dot background that holds it all together. She added some sweet wintery jewels, a little glitter on santa’s suit and of course her signature hearts.

Here’s another project from Monica. This time she used a fun shaped background card to start with. She added some pretty patterned paper and then layered her cut out stamped image on top. As always I love the colors and the softness. She found ribbon that’s a perfect match and of course couldn’t forget a sweet little heart.

Isn’t this a sweet idea? Monica created this cute little tag and pocket. She coordinated them, not only with color – the pink shirt with the pink heart, but also used a little piece of the background paper on the pocket. Her coloring is always wonderful and soft. She topped the tag off with a bit of string, some jewels and ever a little bow.

monica-john reindeer

Isn’t this a wonderful Christmas card? Monica sent it in and I just love what she’s done. She colored in the scene and then cut it out. She said while she was coloring she kept finding small details – like the smoke from the tractor in the shape of candy canes. The little santa’s list tag she found for the background is just perfect. And if you look closely their are little snowflakes in the background too and some sparkle on santa’s suit and some of the clothes. Oh so sweet.
