Diane Kaufman - sending love

Here’s a fun card for just about anytime from Diane Kaufman. She started with the perfect little fluffy cloud and sunshine paper for her background. Stamping little Penelope and kitty Percy she then cut them out – that’s a bit of cutting if I do say so myself. I love how she added a wee bit of sparkle to the flying fish. The little banner flying behind is just so sweet – topping it off with just a few clear drops was just perfect.

Diane Kaufman - jeepers

Diane sent in this wonderful purple-y haunted house card. She said that when she first saw this stamp, she wanted to color the “stripes” on the house the colors of a candy corn…but decided to go with a violet color instead. It was a simple card – stamped, embossed, colored, matted, and attached with pop dots to a card base. She added a moon above the roof by punching out a 1″ circle and using the negative. She used a sponge to swirl in the color of the circle. She has a stamp “Jeepers Creepers” that fit the card perfectly, so she stamped the sentiment, cut it to size and stapled it on. There you have it! Oh, and she used some Stickles for a little bling on the roof.

Somehow a purple haunted house seems a bit more fun. :)

DianeKaufman - talk about catnip

Isn’t this adorable? Diane Kaufman found this cute little clipboard frame and was inspired.

Diane writes…
I love this little stamp, since I am a huge cat lover. The background colors of red and dark mint really drew me in so I used complementary colors on the kitty . After stamping I cropped the paper to a square and corner rounded the top corners. I popped dotted it to the colored paper background. I glued on the sentiment, tied some twine to it and just clipped it on the board. I also added a little bling to the collar… I hope you like it as much as I do!

I do, I do Diane!!!

Diane Kaufman - Moose bag

A wonderful treat today from Diane. Who needs a present when there’s a bag as cute as this?! I love all the different greens she used in the trees. She used a hint of gray on the first mountain and gave it a sparkly snow capped top. She added a little tag with “Happy Trails” stamped out.

Diana Kaufman - Lady bug postcard

Today I’m featuring two projects from Design Team member Diane. She used just one little ladybug stamp – one of her favorites. The postcard (above) features a little branch a little branch and some cut little flowers. Who’d have thought to decorate the back of a postcard so cutely. The little ladybug is just hanging out ready to wish the receiver an oh so happy day.

This second project is a super easy, breezy summer card. All she did was randomly stamp the ladybug on white cardstock, color her in, then just use a circle punch. Diane layered the circle with foam dots to give a little added dimension. Adorable!!

Diane Kaufman Mr Who treat bag

Who needs a gift when you receive a bag like this?! Diane really outdid herself with this project. It features Mr. Who, a little owl in hot pink. She choose a large scalloped center to build on – adding all of details, the tree branch and those wonderful flowers. I love the addition of burlap – it creates a wonderful texture. She secured it to the bag, including some little teal ties at the top.

Here’s a closeup picture of all that great detail.

Diana Kaufman Lord Give Me Coffee

Look at this fun card sent in by Diane. I think most of us can relate at some point in our lives. I love that she took one stamp and really made it fabulous with the backgrounds she chose. She said that the outline shape of the stamp was just too cool to not stamp showcase it as the front of the card. She added a bit of gold glitz with some gold Stickles. And I believe a few foam squares were added to create dimension between all the layers.

Now how about a glass of wine. Anyone? :)

Diane Kaufman - wine tag

How terrific is this project Diane sent in. She said that she absolutely loves this stamp! To create this she used watercolor paper and watercolor pencils. I believe she stamped and cut out Aunt Daisy’s dress. I just love the little flower embellishments and her use of ribbon is a great way to not only attach the card to the wine but adds a great detail!

Here’s an up close look:
