Crafty Math Chick got creative with ribbon for this card.

She attached the woven ribbons to the background and then layered the blue scalloped circle, the brown paw print circle and then a Riley cut out on the very top.

Personally I didn’t know there were so many doggy related ones out there! Great job!

When I first saw Lewis & Trudy’s Wild Ride I instantly paired it with Are We There Yet? and envisioned the little car driving on a road made of saddle stitched ribbon – thinking it looked like a road. When I looked I thought the Maple Lane House would work nicely with these two images as a “We’ve Moved!” card. For something a little different I scored only part of the card base and cut around the top of the roof and treetop with a craft knife so it would stand out from the top of the card. For the grass I simply took two strips of wild wasabi and cut into it with a scissors (grass is a great way to use up green scraps!) and pulled out a few blades with my hands for dimension.

This card is just too cute! I love the way she used ribbon for the road – I never would have thought of that. Great coloring – the little red car just pops off the road. It’s nice too that she carried just a little accent of red on the house as well. Great job!

I hope you won’t think badly of me for it, but for some reason unbeknownst to me, when I first saw Aunt Annie & Jr. Ant I imagined her thinking “nice butt” due to the way they were positioned. LOL! I thought it was kind of funny. SO that is what I wrote in the thought Bubble. Not sure what I will use it for – perhaps a friend who is currently trying to drop a few pounds when she reaches her goal?

She punched out a bunch of red squares to try to create a background that resembled a picnic cloth and added more grass to ‘ground’ the ants.

I think this is adorable! I love the checkerboard background – I think most ants do too. :)

Crafty Math Chick says she just loves this image! I do too. :)

I don’t know how she did it but she found the perfect embellishments – the pawprint brads and the background paper, “Fido”, “Spike”, “Princess”, “Spot”… too cute! I love all the layers and her touch of a shadow under and around the stamped image. Great coloring job. Two paws up for sure!

Crafty Math Chick has been very busy indeed! Not one but THREE cards featuring Pendelton and Peewee for this month. You can click on any of the cards below for a detailed view.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY
I love seeing Pendelton and Peewee in white. She did a great job adding the touches of pink in their ears and on their feet, as well as adding a touch of shadow with a really light colored marker. The hot pink she chose for her backgrounds makes everything pop.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY
For this card we see Peewee and Pendelton in brown – great shading too. Everything’s so color coordinated – picking up the wee bit of orange in the background with the orange diagonal stripe layered on top. The finishing touches with the brads and the buttons add so much.

HELLO BABY
And we can’t forget baby now can we. :) I don’t use ribbon much but whenever I see it used in a card I think why don’t I? I love that she layered the three colors in the background with the embossed polka dots! Great job!

This cute card was created by Crafty Math Chick. She said that when she first saw Poppy bunny she just knew jellybeans had to be involved. Although she says it took her awhile to create the card because she kept eating the jellybeans! That’d be me too!! I love the little touch of shiny ribbon and a bit of lace at the bottom. Very sweet – literally!

This wonderful canine creation was created by DT Member, Crafty Math Chick. Can doggies ever get enough cookies? She says her doggy can’t – which was the inspiration for this card. When she first adopted her puppy as with most new puppy owners, potty training is at the top of the list. She said she would let him outside before bedtime and give him a treat when he came back in and went to his crate – kind of like a mint on one’s hotel bed pillow. Well he quickly learned – outside + back inside = treat. He figured if he asked to go out repeatedly he repeatedly get more cookies!
