Post 3: California hasn’t had any real rain in so long that I’d almost wondered what it looked like. But this year we’ve gotten LOTS!

I once again applied gesso to the entire page and started building my background with layers. The little kids and their pets are actually from Christmas stamps. I stamped and cut them out and then added them to the windows. The droplets were made Glossy Accents and then I painted over them a bit with acrylic paint.

Eat Cake Graphics stamps used:
1104-J Billy and Sparky at window
1105-J Mary and Mr. Meow at window

Oh I LOVE your rainy day scene! We get so much of it here, we’re spoiled!

Thanks Lynne! We haven’t had rain here for so long. I just visited Kentucky and they must get rain all the time because it was SO beautiful and green!! I’d forgotten what that looked like. :)

What an adorable Rainey day scene. It has rained so much here and we have so much flooding we are praying for it to stop! But it did force me to stay inside and pull out one of my favorite stamps from Eat Cake Graphics and make some cards !

Hi Stacy. I hope the waters have gone down. Thanks so much for sending me your card – I’ll be posting it this week on my website. Have a great week! Holly
