I wanted to create a soft winter scene, so I stamped the Winter trees in a light color and then used my watercolors to create the background. I stamped the penguins and Milo on a separate piece, watercolored them in and cut them out. I used a little foam tape to create some dimension. I then thought the little penguin should be holding a flag so I cut one out, wrote the words, glued it on a toothpick and then cut it to fit. The penguins arm fit around it just perfectly. Of course I had to use some glitter to finish things off.

Happy Christmas!
Holly

Here’s another Christmas card from Lynne. I love the color combination!! Always fabulous Lynne!

She says:
Here’s a quickie using my favourite Eat Cake Graphics elf! My unusual colour theme was decided by this pretty DP – not colours I would traditionally put together for a Christmas card, but I like how it turned out! I coloured my elf with watercolour pencils and popped him up on dimensionals. There’s LOADS of sparkle on this … I covered his hat and gloves with my clear glitter pen; clear gloss and glitter to the ‘furry’ bits on his hat; and then more glitter dropped into my enamel dots. Corner die is an oldie from Memory Box and sentiment die from Simon Says.

Lynne Jardine Penguin Fun

Here’s a sweet Christmas card from Lynne. She said she couldn’t decide which of the penguins she wanted to use, so she used them all! Adorable!!!

Here’s what else Lynne wrote:
The two in the corner look like they’ve got cold feet, the dude in the middle is having a blast sliding down the hill, and the guy to the right definitely looks like the Health and Safety Officer LOL
Coloured with watercolour pencils, and clear gloss added to their beaks and feet.  I finished my card with a Simon Says Stamp Christmas die, Paper Smooches snowflake die, a little silver star and some clear bling.

Here’s a wonderful Christmas card from Lynne. I just love the cheery colors and of course all of her shading. Thank you Lynne for choosing this as your family Christmas card!

Here’s what she wrote:
I loved these little carol singers so much I decided to use it as my card to my family and friends, so there’s been a bit of a production line on my table!  I’ve coloured my little family with watercolour pencils and added glitter to their baubles, trim of Dad’s Santa hat, and Mum’s ear muffs.  Clear gloss added to the lantern glass, and I covered the boy’s hat, Dad’s scarf and the little girl’s skirt in my clear sparkle pen.  I also added some Frosted Lace stickles to the ground for my fallen snow, so there’s LOTS of sparkle on this card!
