I think this card is so happy. Alex put fairy wings on Gertie! I love all the purple- frames and text. She even added little white highlights on the letters.

I think Gertie probably loves her sparkly fairy wings. I’m sure she can fly. :)

Alex made this fun party card! She used Cupcake the dog (who already comes with a party hat) and then added a party hat to Go kitty go. I think kitty can’t wait to get to the cake! She added some wonderful sequins and glittered the whole card for sparkle!

Alex Menzlewski Cheers

Here’s a fun card using just 2 stamps. Alex made this and I think it’d be great for lots of occasions – wedding, drinks with friends, a birthday…

She stamped the tiny wine glass randomly in the background. She then used another piece of paper to stamp the big wine glass twice and made it look like it was actually “clinking”. She added some glossy accents to the big wine glasses and added some fun letters “Cheers”.

Lynne Jardine - Webster

Here’s a sweet birthday card from Lynne. Having the multi colored zig zag background adds a whole lot of fun to this card’s background. I love how she’s added the big red circle, but cropped it in the corner. It really calls attention to little Webster and his bark bubble. She said that she used her watercolor pencils to color him in and added a little clear gloss to his nose and eyes. Adding a bit of dimensional tape behind Webster and the bark bubble made them pop even more.

Lynne Jardine Auntie Daisy

Here’s an ever-so springy birthday card sent in by Lynne. I just love how happy it is!
Lynne wrote: The card is for a friend who is full of fun, and I think this image is just perfect for her! I coloured Daisy with watercolours and added some stickles to her flower centres. I chalked some clouds in the background, but they’re almost invisible in my photo :( I used some die cut sentiments – I double mounted the ’30’ and then added some clear gloss and glitter so that it really stood out.

Kim Klinkovsky Chicks Picnic

Here’s a totally fun card sent in by Kim. Don’t you just love the red and yellow combination!

Here’s what Kim wrote: Hello friends! The red and yellow plaid pattern papers remind me of summer picnics with family and friends. And this chicken wire embossing folder makes the perfect background, with a touch of country using this wagon wheel type border punch. These adorable chicks remind me of me and my friends sitting around catching up on life. I used a mix of watered down gelatos to paint the chicks, watercolor crayons to create the grass and the sky, and cut them out using a stitched frame die cut and border cut. Then I added some festive ribbon, buttons, and a tag to finish it up.

donna west - on the road again

Here’s a wonderful card from Donna. This is actually a Christmas stamp – there’s a tree that usually sits on top of the family car, but Donna loves the image so much she wanted to use it for another season. She’s doing a vacation theme challenge and just cut off the Christmas tree and blacked out the license plate so now this cute family is off to enjoy nature and the mountains for their vacation. Just love it!
