Paula Downs - autumn

Today I’m showing you two more cards from Paula Downs. She’s been water coloring again!

Paula writes…
The first card (above) sees Betty & Tigger on an early morning autumnal stroll. I stamped the images using black Versafine, then masked them in order to paint the background trees (which is a stamp called Country Christmas by Sheena Douglass). I also used (Eat Cake Graphics) small maple leaf stamped in Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge distress ink, then coloured with wild honey, rusty hinge and gathered twigs distress inks and cut out. I used a Spellbinders Gold Labels 4 die to stamp the little scene onto. I finished with a clear Wink of Stella brush pen to reflect the early morning dew. A Nitwits paper was used in the background. A Cats Life Press stamp seal was used for the text.

Paula Downs - fall happiness
The second card (above) sees Holly & Kitty Woogums (my favourite stamp EVER) stamped in black versafine, masked and watercoloured. The trees stamp is by Sheena Douglass called Country Christmas.

Thank you so much Paula!!

So gorgeous. I love Autumn. I love the trees and the poppy’s. I love your coloring, the patchwork, and all the details. Great card.
