monica-willow  I just love this little image of Willow and all her little furry friends gathered around. Monica did a wonderful job with this cute little card. I don’t think there is anything sweeter than the timeless polka-dot. I love the she colored the image and then added the little ribbon rose that matches Willow’s dress. Of course she put her signature little heart only in a subtle way, matching the green background.

tanya-cupcake fairy  Tanya created this oh so fun birthday card for her daughter – she said that her daughter loved it! Isn’t it just yummy. I love all that’s going on in the background – the different patterns and colors. The little fairy looks like she’s going to give the frosting just a tiny little taste.  I love that her dress and the cupcake frosting are the same. Her wings are oh so lovely too – the way she gradated them from dark to light and added just a little big of sparkle.

monica-mrknickerbocker-love  Here’s a wonderful little card with a great big heart from Monica. She’s used Mr. Knickerbocker and he’s certainly showing his love. She used the sweetest little X’s and O’s background and added little jewels for a bit of fun. This is a great card for upcoming Valentines Day or any day you want to share how much you love someone.

holly-familyHello everyone.

I needed to take a little after the holidays break. While they weren’t stressful, I’m kind of glad to be getting back to my normal routine. This month a few things are happening. Eat Cake Graphics is turning 15, while I myself am hitting the big 4-9 – one more to the Really Big 5-0, yikes, when did THAT get so close. And guess what I got for my birthday – a jury duty summons. I wish they would have sent a nice card or coupon for a cupcake or something instead. :)

I also wanted to take a moment and say thank you to you all. I really appreciate all the support you’ve shown over the years, the wonderful emails you take time to send me, sharing your creations and your comments. This year I’d really love to feature more of your creations on my blog and Facebook, so if you have something to share please do let me know. I’ll also be looking for a new design team in the near future – I’ll send out a notice just as soon as I’m ready.

Thank you again and I hope 2015 is a great year for you all.
Toodles for now.

(The little picture I’m using in this post is actually a 4×4 canvas I painted for my dad for Christmas. I featured all of our pets or should I say my constant little inspiration sources. Happy New Year. )
