kelly-magnets-allKelly sent this project in – fridge magnets! She chose three stamps and said she used magnet sheets from the venting section of Lowe’s.  She adhered the completed image to the magnet sheet and fussy cut the images out. Now that’s thinking while walking down the aisle of the home improvement store. What a great addition to the fridge!

stephanie-hoppy-birthdayIsn’t this a cute idea! Stephanie used three little frames to show the frog hopping by. I love the black frames so that each stand out and froggie has never looked so good. She topped it off with the perfect saying and two cute little brads.

This card from Kelly makes me want to go somewhere! Starting with the perfect sentiment, I think this is where she must have gotten her inspiration for the theme and color. I love all the layers and wonkiness in which she placed everything. Adding Lewis and Trudy in the white square with her scribble line border and shadow under the car is great. Now lets be off on a grand adventure, shall we.

monica-are-we-there-yet2An ever so sweet card featuring the infamous road trip words “are we there yet?” Monica did this and I love that she started the background with a circle. She stamped everything and then cut it all out. The little trees are from a bigger stamp which she made great use of. She added some sweet colored jewels to add just a wee bit of bling. Lewis and Trudy are looking so cute and are packed for a great adventure.

Tanya sent this in and says “What better way to enjoy a day, than a beverage and a circle of friends.” I agree! She used some wonderful backgrounds – the polka dot paper, the vintage flash card and the big yellow flower. I love how she colored everything, making each hen different. And her sky for some reason reminds me of Van Goghs “Starry Sky”. She even found the perfect embellishments, a button “you’re my cup of tea” and a tea bag charm!

Stephanie’s started planning for Halloween. Here she’s made a cute little card featuring Hank on his vacuum cleaner of a broom. I love the bright moon and the patterned paper she used not only in the background but also on the vacuum cleaner bag. A pop of orange is just perfect and the caution tape and graveyard add just the right amount of scariness.

Here’s a wonderful card from Lori. I love that she chose a simple setting – just the cream color of the paper and some watercolors. Her addition of the orange twine with little beads and a knot that shows is just perfect.

Here’s what Lori writes:
Now that summer is here, it’s time to hit the water! Watercolor that is! This adorable stamp is perfect for watercolors! I stamped the image on watercolor cardstock with black ink. Next, I stamped the sentiment (which I just LOOOOVE!) with black pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then…the watercoloring fun! When the coloring was completely dry,  I used a white gel pen to fill in the white areas. I wrap orange paper twine and a few beads around the panel – then mounted with foam adhesive to a blue card base. The finishing touch…glitter! Glitter makes everything better :)  Ryan is ready to relax in style!

Here’s a close-up showing the sparkly water and other details.

monica-mice-signsMonica is always thinking. Here she’s made the most adorable little bathroom signs. She started with wooden signs and painted them in pastel pink and blue. She added the little white polka dots and then wrote the words. She used Herbert and Daisy mouse for her little ladies and gentlemen pictures. They look so cute!

Monica made this summer card and it couldn’t been sweeter. She stamped everything and then cut it all out. Using the three layers of two different blues for the water makes the little canoe look like it’s actually paddling in the lake. She added little white dots in the sky and little sparkles of blue jewels. The little fish wishing everyone a happy summer is just perfect.

stephanie-butterfliesAbsolutely adorable! Stephanie made this card and I love the gingham paper. All of her layers are so sweet – they really showcase the little girl, kitty and butterflies. I love that she framed them with the yellow and added stitching and buttons.
