sandy-sky-limit-smSandy has been busy making cards. This one features Penelope and Percy kitty. I’m wondering if she took her color cues from the paper she used – the lovely teal and green. The sky certainly is the limit and this card would be perfect for lots of occasions.

amanda-pool-smAmanda certainly did it again! This card is too cute! The perfect background papers – big bright dots, and the other with the fishes. Her color choices are always so bright and cheery. To top it all off she put that wonderful sunshine in the top right corner with a little bit of bling in the form of yellow crystals for the warm sunny rays.

sandy-can-opener-smI think anyone who has a kitty can identify with this card. The shaking of the food container, the opening of a can and here they come!

Sandy sent in this card and I just love it. The background seems sophisticated – maybe its her choice of colors the green, tan and black but then there’s this crazy kitty on top of it all. Two paws up for sure!!

celine-fish-story-smPoor Mr. Wilkerson caught nothing more than a tiny snack for his faithful cat. I just love Celine’s sense of humor. I hope Mr. Wilkerson and kitty have a plan B for dinner!

Here’s what Celine did to create this card…
I stamped and masked Mr. Wilkerson first, then added the background images.  The speech balloon and sentiment were created in PhotoShop, and I drew the fishing pole by hand.  The scene was colored with Prismacolors.

heike-sweet-wishess-smHeike is using those wonderful clouds she creates again. This time they’re the perfect backdrop for Nanna runs free. I love the purple of her dress matching her purple dot tab and the little purple flowers poking through the grass. Oh so sweet.

kelly-its-my-party2I would have loved to receive this cute little party invitation in the mail, wouldn’t you? Kelly sent this in and I think it’s just great. Her choice of bright primary colors, perfect. I also love what Cupcake the dog is saying, “Can you come? huh? huh? Can you come puhhhhhlease!”

celine-playtime-smCeline said this scene reminds her of her kids, who all love to play on the beach.  She used my favorite technique of stamp-color-cut-paste on a background of torn paper, and torn sandpaper. I thought the torn paper was so clever – it really does look like the white spray of a wave hitting the sand. I also liked her choice of embellishments – little seashells of course.

amanda-brave-smGet out your paper hats and flags because the 4th of July is here! In the good ol’ U S of A that means we’re celebrating with family and friends over bar-b-ques, fireworks and fun.

Amanda sent this card in. I love her background layers – the star paper, the patterned pattern and in the middle the blue with the red and white string. She topped the whole thing off with a grouping of buttons. The whole thing is so bright and cheery!

Wishing you all a happy and safe 4th of July.
