sandy-looking-up-smI just love this card. Sandy simply outdid herself in creating it. She said it reminded her of when families are apart, they can look up at the sky and think of each other. And that’s exactly the memory it brought back for me. When I was little my parents divorced and we moved away from my dad. He told me that whenever the moon came out all I had to do was look up in the sky and know that he was thinking of me. It’s such a wonderful memory.

Sandy said she used fringe scissors (Martha Stewart) to create the grass – I really think I must have a pair of these now. She cut out the people and animals which I think adds such dimension to the card, that and the lovely little stars of course. Thank you Sandy.

amanda-fairy-smThis card would brighten anyone’s day! Little Pixie Poppy floating above the bright red mushroom, her wand twinkling and the flowers blooming. I love Amanda’s bright colors – makes me want to plant some flowers in the hopes that a pixie might come!

barbara-mom-smThere’s something about the color combination of hot pink with black and white that I really love. I think Barb did a great job with this card. She used her Copic markers to add color impact to the flowers. I love the scallops and the fact that she embossed the hot pink background. The addition of a big black bow makes the card feel really special.

amanda-hello-smAmanda does it again! Isn’t this cute?! I love all the layered papers in the background and the bow with the pawprint tag is just wonderful. I also really love the black framing around everything, it really brings importance to each layer.

cathrine-thinking-smCathrine sent this project in and it’s just adorable. Orange is one of my favorite colors and I love how she framed everything with it. She did a wonderful job coloring the image – adding just the right amount of shading. I also love that she cut the little girl out so it looks like she’s really leaning against the window. Finishing it off with the ribbon going through the sentiment tag was just great!
