barb-cupcakes2-smUsing a single stamp Barb really made a card with impact. She found the perfect background paper covered in cupcakes! Yum indeed. I love all her layers and the way she framed the saying with orange and the rest with tan. Adding the finishing touch of the chocolate ribbon is the icing on the cupcake.

kelly-awesome-smKelly sent in this cute little card – you’re awesome is right! I think using the little frame around the kitty is just purrfect! The unexpected color combination – mustard yellow, a pop of turquoise and light red is really nice. I love her little dots of gold on the tag and on kitty’s color. Cute!!

celine-penelope-smCeline said, “When I saw Penelope and Percy flying, I knew I wanted to transform the helicopter and create an underwater scene.  I stamped the image, cut it apart and rearranged the pieces, then drew mock-ups of where the bubbles would go.  Eventually I figured out a way to print the bubbles directly onto the watercolored background.  Seaweed was stamped onto the background and colored using Tombow markers.  The school of fish was stamped separately onto scrapbook paper that I had coated with a thin layer of gesso.  Orange details were added with markers, and each fish was cut out and glued to the card.    Penelope and Percy were stamped separately, colored with Prismacolors and glued into place.  Finally, the fish eyes were painted white to make them stand out.”

Cute cute cute! I love her clever idea of transforming the stamp!

maria-delight-in-life-sm“Delight in life” is the perfect jumping off point for the this card. Rowley dog is enjoying the beautiful rainbow of color Maria created. Isn’t it just so happy! I love her rainbow and the addition of the little clear dots. She also added the little movement lines around all of his paws which makes it look like he’s really jumping for joy. Happy happy happy for sure!
