annie-love-smAll ya need is love…ok well maybe that and some cookies. :)

Annie sent in this card and I thought it was too cute – all the little hearts floating around a loveable bear. Annie, being the artist she is, drew the big red heart and then punched out the little ones. This card is sure to let someone know that you love them.

christygetscrafty-smChristy over at ChristyGetsCrafty sent me a link to this card. It was so cute I asked her if I could post it here. She said yes – yeah!

I love her color choices – so cheery (but then I am quite partial to orange). :) I think it’s just such a sweet little “hi there” note that would make anyone’s mailbox smile.

Thanks for sharing Christy!

ibt-450Hi Everyone.

Today’s post is something a little different than the usual.

My friend Kay Mackenzie has written her second book, Inspired by Tradition. While I’m know the stampers out there might think “applique, what’s that about”, I wanted to draw your attention to my Sprinkles of Thought blog to show you that fabric isn’t the only medium this book is good for.

AND, if you stop by the Sprinkles of Thought blog and leave a comment you’ll be entered to win your very own copy! Check the blog for details.

wanda-helloWanda is back with another house card. Yeah! wanda-hello-detail2

This time she used the summer neighborhood stamp. I love the bright, colorful houses – don’t you? I know that many right now are probably wishing for a bit of summer sunshine and this card can sure help you imagine some. :)

I also wanted to say stay tuned in! On Saturday I’ll be doing a little post about and a quilt book giveaway, but for those who don’t quilt I’ll be showing a sample using paper and a little ink as well.

linda-bunnyhop-sm Mr. MacIntire is singing a happy tune. He’s dressed up as a rabbit and is delivering Easter goodies.

Linda has certainly done it again! All of the layers are just wonderful – right down to the little bits of grass. I love the pleated frame behind Mr. MacIntire – really adds some extra fun to the card.

wanda-thinkingofyouWanda has simply outdone herself with all the details in this card.

wanda-thinkingofyou-detailwanda-thinkingofyou-detail2Using the house as the focal point she added so many layers – with paper and pieces of ribbon, the lovely flower, the jewels and lastly the little key. I think this would not only be a perfect anytime card, but wouldn’t you just love it if you moved into a new home and got this as your first piece of mail. :)

annie-smile-smannie-smile-detailAnnie paired the single sentiment “smile” with the perfect smiling kitty. I suppose he’s smiling because he’s got the whole chair to himself! Whatever the reason this is a fun, anytime-you-need-a-little card to send project.

Now if you’ll excuse me I need to find my Fur Fighter to pick up all the hair I know kitty is going to leave behind!

danielle-penelope-smDanielle sent this in and I just loved it. The bold use of orange on the flying fish and her tone-on-tone polka dot paper  is just wonderful. I like too that she added a touch of sparkle to the fish – makes it more magical. Although, I suppose one doesn’t see a bright orange propeller fish every day so how much more magical does it get! :) Wahooo!

linda-puppylove-smAnd they call it puppy looooove. I think Linda found her inspiration from the 1970’s teenage heart-throb Donnie Osmond. :)

This card is so cute with all of it’s layers of color and pattern. (And I think those yummy cupcakes to the right are making my mouth water).

danielle-bookkitty-smDanielle created this purrrfect little card – makes me want to curl up with a good book and a furry friend.

As always her colors are just wonderful. I’m wondering if she took her color inspiration from the background paper or if she happened to just find the ideal piece of paper after-that-fact. Either way it’s purrrfect.
