My dog believes
Filed Under Dogs, Holly, People | 2 Comments

- Start with a light-teal blue card for the background. Stamp box of dog bones and dish on background.
- For the stripe I used the waves Cookie Cutter border die (by Quickutz #CC-BDR-003). I ran part of the wave through my Cuttlebug using a dots embossing folder (UPC 093573316043).

I added a little bit of white paint to the dots so they would stand out (you could also use a light grit sand paper and slightly sand them to probably get the same effect). - Cut out a circle of white cardstock and stamp Felicia and Sparky. Color them in – I used my Copic markers.
- Cut out a scalloped circle.
- Mount everything to background and then stamp saying.

This card actually went together pretty easily.
- Start with a light-teal blue card for the background. Stamp Official Snow Taster image around background.
- For the stripe I used a Cookie Cutter dots border die (by Quickutz UPC #822431015329) – these are actually about a foot long, so don’t let my card fool ya.

- Cut out a stripe of white cardstock slightly larger than the first stripe (step 2) and mount both on the background card.
- Cut out a circle of white cardstock and stamp Becky. Color her in – I used my Copic markers. I also added just a hint of blue around her (Copic color: BG0000).
- Cut out a scalloped circle using the same paper as your stripe.
- After you mount everything to the card add the three snowballs (Mark Richards glitter dome stickers).

I got a new set of Nestabilities (by Spellbinders) for Christmas – yeah! The looooooong rectangles, so I simply had to try them out.
I cut out the rectangles from Bristol paper and then a larger one from some decorative paper I had had for awhile. In black I stamped Fluffy kitty on one and Bunny the dog on the other. I stamped out the words “Thank you” (from Purple Onion Designs) in blue. I colored in the animals using Copic markers. I then mounted the white rectangle on the fancy paper rectangle and then that to the card. Then I colored in the words with Stickles (by Ranger Ink).

Thao Nguyen shared pictures of this wonderful card she made. I thought it was so clever the way she hid the “to you” message as a pull-out.
Thanks Thao!
